The Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap Recipe Roundup Part 2

I have said it so many times the last several weeks but I’ll say it again, Lindsay and are I are astounded at how many registered for the great food blogger cookie swap. The cookie swap had more than 620 participants…love that! That’s over 22,000 cookies that traveled around the U.S. AND around the world! I’m thinking we can call this a huge success! I have enjoyed seeing all of the tweets, facebook posts, instagrams and posts. It’s been an amazing experience. I love visiting most of the blogs (I’m still trying to get to all of them) and seeing everyone enjoying themselves. I love the power of twitter and I love the food blogging community!

If you participated, I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart. It’s always been about the cookies and when several people didn’t receive some of their cookies, some of you stepped up to be cookie angels. We’re so grateful to you and everyone that participated.

Be sure to like the Cookie Swap facebook fan page and share your posts and pictures from this year’s swap there too.

If you didn’t get to participate this year (and you’re a food blogger), be sure to sign up to get notified here. Remember, you need to confirm your subscription and this is not a registration. We can’t wait for next year…in true Lindsay & Julie fashion, we’re already planning next year’s and are already plotting to make it bigger and better.

Even if you’re not a food blogger, I hope you’ll enjoy seeing all of these cookie recipes and find an awesome recipe for your holiday baking.

Below are about roughly half of the links that were submitted to us, to see the other half, visit Lindsay at Love & Olive Oil.

Didn’t get enough? Head over to Love & Olive Oil for part 1 of the round up.

Are we still able to participate (next year of course) if we aren’t necessarily a “food blogger”? I love to back and have some family recipes. I would love to participate in this next year, but I blog about household (some recipes but it’s not my primary focus).

Wow – I’m just now coming across this cookie swap! I am amazed – so many wonderful looking cookies, and so many participants! We just had a cookie swap at work (10 people), and it was so much fun, but this makes it pale in comparison. I’ve signed up to be contacted for next year!

Wow! I am an amateur baker but have been doing it a long time and cookies are my specialty. Some really great looking recipes there! Wish I had taken part in it, sounds like a lot of fun. Will have to remember for next year, unless it’s only open to professionals (then I’ll send my daughter, :).
    Neat giveaway! Good luck everyone.

You ladies did a lovely job! I was wondering how you were going to do a round up of 500+ cookies. I’m thrilled to see mine as a part of this and cannot wait to participate again next year!

I really wish I could have been a part of this, but I missed the deadline. There will be a next year, right?
