The Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap 2012 Recipe Roundup Part 2

Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap Recipe Roundup

Cookies, cookies and more cookies! I don’t know ANYONE who doesn’t like cookies – check out all of the amazing recipes below and at Love & Olive Oil (for part 1).

I’m so thrilled that our 2nd annual cookie swap was a huge success. Not only did we have over 570 food bloggers sign up and moved over 20,000 (TWENTY THOUSAND) cookies all around the world (forgive me while I catch my breath) – we raised over $2200 for a wonderful organization, Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. With OXO’s generous matching, it brings it up to over $4400!! Thanks to OXO for sending those Be a Good Cookie spatulas to all our U.S. cookie swap participants too!

Be sure to check out Cookies for Kids’ Cancer and see what great work they are doing and learn how you can get involved and lend a hand year-round by organizing a bake sale in your community or ordering cookies to send to family & friends.

I can’t wait for next year, it will be even better – we already have more ideas for next year (like having everyone that participates send Lindsay and I both each a cookie from their recipe – haha just kidding or maybe not). Thanks for my awesome and dear friend, Lindsay, she’s the best co-organizer I could ask for!

If you missed out this year, be sure to sign up for notifications. Remember, if you participated this year, we’ll notify you when sign ups open.

Happy holidays and happy baking!! And happy cookie eating!!

I think you really SHOULD make it a requirement to have everyone send you at least one cookie next year. It’s only fair. ;)

It was fun to participate again for the 2nd year in a row. Although, I have to admit I’m sad I don’t see my Vanilla Sugar Snaps photo in this round up. I hope my cookie recipients enjoyed what I sent them as I enjoyed those I received. Thanks for organizing this great event!
